TMF lands Ubuntu launch campaign brief
TMF has landed a contract to launch a new Fairtrade cola to the UK market.
Ubuntu Cola was the first cola in the UK to get the Fairtrade Mark (back in 2007) and is made with Fairtrade sugar from the Kasinthula Cooperative in Malawi and from the Kaleya Cooperative in Zambia. The firm reinvests 15% of all profits back into the communities that helps harvest the sugar cane it is made from. This means that every time an Ubuntu Cola is purchased, customers are directly taking part in the Fairtrade movement – contributing to long term development and real opportunities for African communities.
The campaign is combining celebrity endorsement with a media relations and experiential drive for the launch in March this year.
