The campaign took the form of three crucial stages.  Firstly, we commissioned bespoke research asking teenagers what they thought of their science lessons and how they would improve them, and then subsequently sought advocates from sciences and political communities to endorse and comment on the findings.  The final element was to piggyback on the debate raging in the media at the time about the general state of science education in the UK.

Blanket coverage was achieved across broadcast media outlets including over 40 minutes of broadcast airtime.  In addition, significant national newspaper and trade press coverage was delivered.

Press coverage was wholly positive, despite the recent negative story, and positioned London Metropolitan staff and academics as thought leaders on higher education and science teaching

The value of the media coverage generated was in excess of £500,000 - an ROI of over 8:1
