challenge

Build hype around the launch of the new Skoda Fabia, focusing on the TV advertisement which consisted of a full size replica car made solely from cake ingredients

Raise the profile of the advertising agency behind the advertisement - Fallon - including its creative team, impressive client list and reputation for delivering commercially successful campaigns

creative solution: "cake"

The PR blitz aimed to amplify the nation's fixation as to how the car was created, leveraging statistics about the number of cakes used, the metres of icing, the litres of jam etc... which were then brought to life further by behind-the-scenes photography showing how the car was built.
